Terry Vilhauer, senior vice president and commercial banking officer at Pacific Continental Bank, has been promoted to lending team leader for the bank's Lane County operations. He has worked at the bank since 2004.

Kim Schille-Millier has joined the staff at Passionflower passionflower, any plant of the genus Passiflora, mostly tropical American vines having pulpy fruits. Some species are grown in greenhouses for their large, unusual flowers of various colors; those seen by early Spanish settlers were interpreted as symbolic of  Design in downtown Eugene as a floral designer. She brings 10 years of floral and garden design experience with her.

Matthew Johnson Matthew Johnson, or Matt Johnson, can refer to several people:
  • Matt Johnson (singer), the lead singer of the British band, The The
  • Matt Johnson (bassist), the bassist for the Chainsaw Kittens
  • Matt Johnson (drummer), a drummer in the band of Jeff Buckley
 has expanded his law practice to full time and moved into a new office in the Oregon Office Building at 541 Willamette St., Suite 203. His practice focuses on tenant/landlord, collections and employment issues, as well as personal injury and general civil matters.

Kate Snow Kate Snow (b. March 5, 1968) is a co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend Edition on ABC. She became co-anchor in 2004. Snow also frequently appears on the weekday Good Morning America and World News with Charles Gibson  and Tracie Naganuma have been hired as staff accountants at Jones & Roth, a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000.  and business consulting firm. Both joined the firm after first serving as interns.

David Doucet has joined the staff at Pacific Winds Music as a violin maker who also is skilled at restorations and repairs. Tim Sweaney has joined the store's staff as band instrument repair shop manager.

Lynda Rose has been elected by the FOOD for Lane County board of directors to a three-year term as a board member. She is council coordinator for the City of Eugene.

Gerry Gaydos and Susan Ban have been reappointed by Gov. Ted Kulongoski for second terms as Lane Transit District board members. The four-year terms were confirmed this month by the Oregon Senate.

The Center for Community Counseling has elected the following new board members to serve three-year terms: Andrea Smith Koch; Barbara Lipkin; Dianne Watson; M.B. Barlow; Rick Varnum and Sadie Dressekie.

Herbert Severson, a senior scientist at Oregon Research Institute, has been named the 2006 Research Laureate by the American Academy of Health Behavior The American Academy of Health Behavior was founded in 1997 to “transform the health promotion and health education field from a teaching- and service-centered profession to one with a stronger research foundation in which discovery would be valued as a means of improving practice .

Severson, a scientist at ORI since 1979 and a specialist in tobacco cessation, received the award and delivered the keynote address at the academy's annual meeting in Carmel, Calif., earlier this month.

Dave Hauser, president of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to serve on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Committee of 100.

Members of the national committee advise the U.S. Chamber of Commerce The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest not-for-profit federation of businesses, representing more than 3 million businesses and organizations in the United States. As of 2003, the chamber was comprised of 3000 state and local chambers and 830 business associations.  board of directors and do work in lobbying, program recommendations and outreach to the business and chamber communities.
