Jack Haworth, formerly parts supervisor for Pape Machinery, has been named service pricing guide/service systems coordinator. In his new position, Haworth will work with the company's service departments in developing flat rates and knowledge-based maintenance repairs. Haworth worked for Hessel Tractor when it was purchased by Pape more than four years ago.

The Oregon chapter of the National MS Society will present Gretchen Pierce, president of real estate development firm Hult & Associates in Eugene, with its 2005 Hope Award, the group's highest award, given in recognition of an individual who exhibits outstanding philanthropy, community service and leadership. Pierce lends her support and guidance to the MS Society and other local nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. Past recipients have included Ted Baker, Carolyn Chambers, Don Tykeson, and Ernie Kent. The award will be presented at the Hult Center at the Dinner of Champions, an annual gala benefit on Sept. 16.

The Oregon Association of Broadcasters has named Eugene's KMTR NewsSource 16 Station of the Year, for stations outside the Portland metro market. KMTR also won nine other awards, including best newscast, best news image promotional campaign, best feature reporting and best public service campaign.

Julie Gentili Armbrust has changed the name of her practice from Gentili Armbrust Mediation to Mediation Northwest. The practice, located at 399 E. 10th Ave., Suite 204, Eugene, will continue to offer organizations and individuals solutions to conflict through mediation and facilitation services.

Quilter's Junction, after 10 years in business in Junction City, has moved to 415 South A St., Springfield. The specialty shop for quilters is owned by Ruth Bass and Judy Richter.

Dr. Jay Lamb has moved his general family dental practice from 1600 Chambers St. to 4750 Village Plaza, No. 201, Eugene. The practice also has a new name: Village Plaza Dental.
