Salespeople, most of them college students and recent high school graduates, market Cutco products to customers via one-on-one demonstrations,
 in Eugene. Burdette joined Vector in 1999 as a CUTCO CUTCO Cooking Utensil Company

. Heavy Trucking of Harrisburg earned second place in the Over 4 Million Mile Truckload division; Altimeter altimeter (ăltĭm`ĭtər, ăl`tĭmē'tər), device for measuring altitude. The most common type is an aneroid barometer calibrated to show the drop in atmospheric pressure in terms of linear elevation as an airplane,  Transport Service, Eugene, won second place in the Under 3 Million Mile Truckload class; and Tru*Serv Logistics of Springfield took second place in the private carriers category.

The Lane Community College Cooperative Education Program has named King Retail Solutions of Eugene as its 2005 Employer of the Year.

Country Coach, a Junction City motor coach manufacturer, has recognized Guaranty RV Centers as 2004 Dealer of the Year for the fifth consecutive year. The company named Guaranty RV's Damon Rapozo as Salesman of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

Gayle Edwards, a physical therapist with the Early Childhood Coordination Agency for Referrals, Evaluation and Services in Lane County, received the Judy Rowe Exemplary Therapist Award in recognition of her outstanding skills with infants and young children. The award was given by the Oregon Regional and Statewide Program for Students with Orthopedic Impairment.
