ISLANDIA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 9, 1995--Computer Associates International, Inc. and Dataware Technologies (Cambridge, MA) today announced a joint marketing agreement to cross-license CA-OpenIngres(R) and Total Recall(R) for BRS/Search(R). Companies can now collect all types of corporate information quickly, with access to structured data, text, images and multimedia, such as sound and video.

CA-OpenIngres is the multiplatform relational database management system for mission-critical business processing. Offering the leading capabilities of distributed database technologies, CA-OpenIngres is ideally suited for advanced data warehousing and mobile computing applications.

Total Recall -- recently launched in the United States by Dataware Technologies -- is a specialized application programming interface which allows a relational DBMS and fourth generation language to link with Dataware Technologies' high-end, full-text management system, BRS/Search.
