BUSINEES LIFE:Internet unplugged.COVENTRY UNIVERSITY The expanding main campus is situated on the east side of Coventry city centre, which boasts one of the most innovative (and unusual-looking) university libraries in the UK. The university is particularly noted for its world-renowned automotive design and engineering degree courses as Technology Park is one of the first conference centres in the city to have installed technology allowing visitors to access the internet without the need for plugs or wires. The conference centre within the park has been able to pioneer the technology thanks to the support of one of the technology park's tenants, Daconi Ltd, which installed the hardware. Called Wireless Fidelity See Wi-Fi. , the new technology allows individuals to connect to the internet via radio signals instead of cables, giving delegates the freedom to surf in any room or corridor, in the restaurant or even on the patio outside. |
