BUSH GOING FLAT OUT TO BLAST IRAN.

IS that pancake a coded threat to Iran, Mr President? George Bush holds up his flat batter snack at a US base after accusing Iraq's neighbour of threatening world security.

Mr Bush said: "Iran is the world's leading state sponsor of terror.

"Iran sends hundreds of millions of dollars to extremists around the world while its people face repression and hardship at home. It threaten the security of nations everywhere."

In a hard-hitting speech halfway through an eight-day trip to the Middle East, the president added: "The United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  is strengthening security commitments with our friends in the Gulf and rallying friends around the world to confront this danger."

Mr Bush was speaking in Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi (ä`b thä`bē, zä–, dä–), Arab. Abu Zabi, sheikhdom (1995 pop. 928,360), c.  in the United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates, federation of sheikhdoms (2005 est. pop. 2,563,000), c.30,000 sq mi (77,700 sq km), SE Arabia, on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.  and stopped for breakfast at the naval base in Bahrain.
