BUSH CAN REVERSE CLINTON PRO-ABORTION POLICIES.

Blowing with the wind of change.''

``Wind of Change''

Scorpions, Klaus Meine

MONDAY marked 28 years of Roe vs. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion. The infamous decision has resulted in more than 43 million dead unborn children. Beyond those grisly numbers and the countless walking wounded Walking wounded is a term used in first aid and triage to indicate injured persons who are of a relatively low priority. These patients are conscious and breathing and usually have only (relatively) minor injuries; thus they are capable of walking.  victims of abortion, the value of life has been dramatically cheapened.

Almost weekly the sorry headlines assault the heart. A quick search of headlines reveals the depth of the problem: ``Woman who killed baby in microwave gets 5 years in prison''; ``Man sentenced in death of 5-month-old son''; ``Baby's body found in shallow grave''; ``4-month-old suffocated''; ``Man denies murdering baby''; ``Child left in van by sitter dies''; ``Father arrested in death of infant son''; ``Mother of baby found dead remains in jail''; ``Infant found dead in tribal septic septic /sep·tic/ (sep´tik) pertaining to sepsis.

``A woman's right to choose,'' today a sacred right that held so much promise for the liberation, salvation of women, has become a cruel joke. A cruel joke on women because abortion devastates women both emotionally and physically.

Recent examples include a Finnish government-funded study that found that women who abort (1) To exit a function or application without saving any data that has been changed.

(2) To stop a transmission.

(programming) abort - To terminate a program or process abnormally and usually suddenly, with or without diagnostic information.
are approximately four times more likely to die in the following year than women who carry their babies to term. Research evidence has resulted in even pro-choice researchers acknowledging the reality of post-abortion syndrome Post-abortion syndrome (PAS), post-traumatic abortion syndrome and abortion trauma syndrome, are terms used by opponents of abortion[1][2] .

Team leader Dr. Brenda Major found PAS in 1.4 percent of a sample of women who had aborted a·bort

Yet another study reveals a link between abortion and breast cancer. ``Breast Cancer: Its link to abortion and the birth control pill'' is a new book of the six-year study by Chris Kahlenborn, M.D.

Most ironic is that many men avoid the responsibilities of fatherhood by using abortion as a tool. Women are coerced and pushed to abort their babies by their boyfriends, husbands or fathers. It is no coincidence that statistics document the most pro-abortion group to be young men ages 18-25, not women.

The election of George W. Bush signals a wind of change. A nation weary of the pro-death Clinton administration Noun 1. Clinton administration - the executive under President Clinton

longs for the hope of life to shine. These signs are reflected in the latest Zogby poll that found a majority of Americans believe abortion destroys an innocent life and is manslaughter.

The new President Bush has taken the opportunity to set the tone of his administration to respect all human life. With one of his first official actions, Bush began the national healing by immediately turning around those Clinton policies that have made the U.S. one of the most pro-abortion countries. He has reinstated the Mexico City policy The Mexico City Policy is a United States government policy which limits the eligibility for federal funding to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which provide or promote services related to abortion.  that bars the use of American funds

for groups promoting or performing abortions around the world.

Now, he can sign the bill banning the horrific procedure of partial-birth abortions. He will be able to promote families by encouraging adoptions and parental notification in cases of abortion for minors.

Twenty-eight years of abortion on demand has brought us horrors few imagined possible - abortion for reasons of gender selection, late-term abortions, partial-birth abortions and live birth abortions. Thankfully, the American people An American people may be:

have had enough and look forward to a restoration of that most sacred right - life.

Where the children of tomorrow dream away
