BUS-SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN LANCASTER, PALMDALE.

A series of bus-service expansions will begin today in Lancaster and Palmdale including some restructured routes and extended schedules.

The Antelope Valley Transit Authority Antelope Valley Transit Authority is the transit agency serving the cities of Palmdale and Lancaster and their suburbs. Antelope Valley Transit Authority is operated under contract by Veolia Transport, and is affiliated and offers connecting services with Metro and Metrolink.  also will introduce shuttle service to Lake Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  with free rides today and Sunday.

In Lancaster, the improvement includes bus service all day to Lancaster Superior Court, new service to the city's Business Park, improved service from downtown to the city's east side and direct service from the Los Angeles County Department of Social Services social services

In Palmdale, service improvements include a simpler route structure on major roads, half-hour service to medical offices, new service in southwest Palmdale and revised Routes 1, 2 and 3.

Also, the Palmdale Transfer Center moved from the Antelope Valley Mall The Antelope Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Palmdale, California.

Opened in September, 1990, its buildings take up around 1 million square feet (90,000 m²). Its physical main building, parking lots, and ring road businesses encompass an area a bit less than 0.
 to Trade Center Drive. That city will install benches and shade structures soon. The AVTA AVTA Advanced Vehicle Testing Activity  board plans a permanent transfer site.
