BUS LINES EXTEND SERVICE.

Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Transit has extended service on several bus lines. Here are the changes:

Line 10, which runs on Valencia-Boulevard/Soledad Canyon Road between Valencia Town Center and Shadow Pines Boulevard, now operates every 15 to 20 minutes on weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m. and 2:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Line 35, which runs on Lyons Avenue, Newhall Avenue, Orchard Village Road and McBean Parkway, operates every 15 to 20 minutes on weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m. and 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. This line, thanks to funding from Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County, has been extended to Stevenson Ranch Stevenson Ranch, California (in the 91381 ZIP Code) is a Los Angeles County, USA, unincorporated community west of Santa Clarita a few miles south of Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park. The Stevenson Ranch fountain was redone in 2007.  and the Valencia Marketplace every 30 minutes daily, seven days a week.

Line 50, which serves Sierra Highway and San Fernando Road San Fernando Road is a major street in the city and county of Los Angeles. It starts off in Castaic as The Old Road, passing through Santa Clarita and the Newhall Pass, where upon its intersection with Sierra Highway near the junction of the Golden State (I-5) and the , now operates every 30 minutes daily, seven days a week.

Line 45, along McBean Parkway and Newhall Ranch Road, now has limited, peak-hour service.
