ON THE BUSES star Reg Varney, who died last month at 92, left pounds 302,000 in his will.

Most of it goes to his only daughter Jeanne Marley, 59, and her husband Keith. He also left pounds 5,000 to each of his grandchildren, Ryan and Leah Belford.

Comedy actor Reg, of Budleigh Salterton, Devon, had lived alone since the death of his wife Lilian in 2002. He became famous as bus driver Stan "I hate you" Butler in the 70s ITV sitcom. He died shortly after being admitted to a nursing home with a chest infection.
