Valencia forward Stephanie Patterson scored eight of her game-high 19 points in the final quarter to help the Vikings to a 64-56 victory at Burroughs High.

The win earned Valencia (8-1) a spot in the championship game tonight at 7:30 p.m. against Agoura. Chatsworth will play at 4:30 p.m. against Glendale in the third-place game.

Valencia (8-1) jumped out to an 18-13 lead in the first quarter, thanks to five points and two assists from point guard Valerie Pena. The Vikings held a 31-25 halftime advantage.
