BURLINGTON AIR EXPRESS APPOINTS GREG MONTGOMERY MANAGING DIRECTOR OF CANADA

 New Responsibilities Include Overseeing
 Latin American and Caribbean Region
IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Burlington Air Express today announced the appointment of Greg Montgomery as managing director of Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Montgomery formerly was regional vice president of the Latin American and Caribbean region. In his new role, Montgomery adds responsibility for the Burlington Canadian organization.
"Under his direction, the Latin American Region has experienced double-digit growth in a time when most air freight markets have realized slight improvement," said Dennis Eittreim, executive vice president, the Americas.
"Greg was responsible for the establishment of company-owned operations in Brazil and service improvements in most every Latin American region country. His impact on our Americas business south of the U.S. border has been significant," Eittreim added. "We look forward to the same dedication and commitment to our Canadian organization.
"Canada was Burlington's second most profitable unit in 1992. There is a strong regional and corporate management group that works cohesively to achieve winning results. With Greg at the helm, we anticipate a continuation of Canada's superior performance," he said.
