Detectives say the burglar has been crossing through the back yards adjoining the golf course, then breaking windows to get into the homes. ``In all of these, they've been making entry from the golf course side,'' Hill said. ``The common thread seems to be if you're on the golf course, you can go into the different (homes).'' Two burglaries were reported last month, and three or four others happened last weekend. Most occurred in the homes along Lakeview Canyon Drive, along the south part of the golf course known as The Oaks 9. Officials at the upscale country club said they have considered posting notices to warn residents and patrons about the burglaries and encourage them to secure their homes. ``We're contemplating doing that.
