As far as the general public is concerned, he said, ``it's hard to sell what we're doing.'' Customers are another story altogether. The company's Los Angeles County division has flourished since moving from Palmdale to Castaic. It made another move from Castaic to Valencia last year, and will celebrate the opening of its new facility with an open house today. Major public and private entities - including the Valencia Water Co., The Newhall Land and Farming Company The Newhall Land and Farming Company is a land management company based in Valencia, California, United States. The company is responsible for the master community planning of Valencia, as well as the management of farm land elsewhere in the state. and the Newhall County Water District - now depend on the company. The facility also is among the fastest-growing of Marden Susco's branches. Etheridge declined to give sales statistics for the Valencia branch, but he said the entire company registered more than $50 million in sales last year. Customers say Marden Susco's Valencia office is key to its success here. ``Their big advantage to us is that they're local and very responsive, and in a crunch (1) To process data.
