BURBANK MAN KILLED IN FALL FROM CLIFF.

A local electrician died last weekend after slipping and falling 150 feet off a cliff while his brother snapped his picture next to a waterfall waterfall, a sudden unsupported drop in a stream. Lt. Greg Wright, public information officer for the Tulare County Sheriff's Department, said it was the first death at a waterfall in Tulare County this year. Mayer estimated there have been only about three deaths at South Creek Falls in the past two decades.

``We were all hit pretty hard by the news,'' Long said. ``Numerous customers have called in. He was very well liked and people would call and request that he be the electrician assigned to come to their home. He was a very honest and trustworthy person.''

Long said Hallo loved to go camping and to participate in outdoor activities.

Family members could not be reached for comment Friday.

Hallo is survived by his wife, Leah; his 12-year-old daughter, Megan; his parents, Edwin Sr. and Dorothy Hallo; grandmother, Edna Hallo; sister, Arlene Peacock; brothers, Thomas, Raymond and Paul Hallo; foster brothers, Alan Ham and David Paige; and several nieces and nephews.
