This year's theme was ``Understanding the Self,'' which focused on everything from Mary Shelley's ``Frankenstein,'' to the Super Quiz topic ``Concepts of the Self: Philosophy, Psychology and Religion.'' Those topics will be resurrected during the state competition, to be held March 16-18 in Los Angeles.
