BURBANK - The number of passengers using the Burbank Airport in 2000 rose only slightly from 1999, officials said Monday.

According to the Airport Authority, some 4,748,000 passengers used the airport last year, compared with about 4,736,000 in 1999. The total number of flights - including military, air carrier and general aviation - rose from 12,874 in 1999 to 13,309 last year.
