But boss Steve Sussams insists the gourmet Royal burger is worth every penny. It is made from Japanese Wagyu beef marinated in champagne for 24 hours Adv. 1. for 24 hours - without stopping; "she worked around the clock" around the clock, round the clock before cooking. Manager Steve said yesterday: "The Royal Dart has always had a good reputation for burgers so we decided to make the ultimate burger. "It may sound like a lot of money but if you buy one you will be eating the very best. You cannot buy a better burger anywhere on the planet." The Royal outstrips Burger King's Burger Bling, which became the world's most expensive last year at pounds 95. Both burgers use Wagyu beef, which is made from cows fed on diets including beer and sake and treated to massages and music. And for food-lovers trying to decide if the Royal is really worth the eye-watering price tag ... the pounds 125 does include chips.
