BULB QUEST.

Byline: The Register-Guard

Danny Kalman, 18, of South Eugene High School, finds a camas bulb in a shovel full of sod he dug up at an empty lot at 28th Avenue and Tyler Street. With the help of the city of Eugene's Stream Team, Friendly Area Neighbors hopes to plant the salvaged bulbs in the traffic calming bulb-outs along Polk Street and create mini-gardens out of concrete barriers.
