BUILDING FUND-RAISER SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY.

PALMDALE - The Antelope Valley Country Club will be the site Sunday of a casino fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity.

Proceeds will go toward building homes for local families.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the club, 39800 Country Club Drive.

There are three Habitat for Humanity houses currently under construction in Palmdale which are expected to be finished by Christmas.

Tickets purchased before Sunday are a $25 donation, which includes $200 in Funbucks. At the door, tickets are a $35 donation, which includes $200 in Funbucks.
