The surprise findings were in a Chartered Society of Physiotherapy report released for RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) Ailments of the hands, neck, back and eyes due to computer use. The remedy for RSI is frequent breaks which should include stretching or yoga postures.  Awareness Week.

It said builders are five times as likely to have arm and neck pain than corporate managers.

Spokeswoman Jacqui Smith said: "It can affect all workers, not just those who use computers."

More than four million work days are lost every year because of upper-limb disorders. Shop union Usdaw urged employers to review work conditions.
