BUGS Reactivates GaeaCare Interest for Disaster Response; SSWM Expertise and New Technology May Provide Applications for Natural Disasters Such as Katrina.

(NYSE: WMI) is a waste management, comprehensive waste, and environmental services company in North America. The company's network includes 413 collection operations, 370 transfer stations, 283 active landfill disposal sites, 17 waste-to-energy plants, . (OTCBB:SSWM SSWM Surface and Storm Water Management ), a ten percent shareholder of GaeaCare, and other technology partners for on-site facility vigilance and response for sudden and catastrophic toxic and hazardous material releases to both air and water resources. The company has been dormant for several years, but with the recent purchase by Winsted Holdings, Inc. there may be another opportunity to bring this vital technology to market for natural disasters such as the current wave of hurricanes slamming the U.S. borderline.
