BUCKEYE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. AND COUNTRY MUSIC FOUNDATION, INC. TO COLLABORATE IN THE TELEVISION DIRECT RESPONSE MARKETING OF CMF PRODUCTS

 NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Buckeye Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKCI) announced today that is has entered into a development and marketing agreement with the Country Music Foundation, Inc. (CMF), a Tennessee corporation, pursuant to which Buckeye will develop an integrated marketing strategy to market and sell certain CMF memorabilia and novelty products and other CMF music-related products owned or controlled by CMF, as mutually agreed by both parties. Buckeye and CMF will develop a "television direct response marketing" program for a number of CMF products and thereafter add other products to the venture.
 The Country Music Foundation is an educational, tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to preserve and document country music's rich history. The CMF operates the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as two other historic sites in Nashville, RCA's Studio B and Hatch Show Print. In addition, the CMF oversees a vast archive of over 150,000 recordings, 60,000 photographs, films, videos and printed materials related to country music, the South, and Southern culture.
 Buckeye has the worldwide right to market and sell CMF products including CMF memorabilia and novelty products, CMF recordings, video and book properties, printed materials, Hatch Show Print products and any additional products that are developed by the company and CMF related to the CMF products through television and a variety of distribution channels.
 Buckeye has agreed to fund all development and marketing costs including product development cost, media cost, test marketing cost, talent and consulting costs, fulfillment costs, fees and commissions and any other costs directly related to the selected CMF product. CMF will receive royalty payments on the sale of CMF products. The CMF agreement is for an initial term of three years (the "initial term") with an option to extend the initial term for additional one-year terms.
 Buckeye, established in 1988, is a development stage company which seeks investment and business opportunities in the leisure and entertainment industries including investments in such areas as merchandising, licensing and intellectual assets, including the marketing and distribution of various consumer products through direct response and other traditional retail methods on a worldwide basis; themed tourist attractions; and entertainment. Buckeye common stock is quoted on the over-the-counter non-NASDAQ Bulletin Board under the symbol BKCI.
