BTU International Appoints Frank Bottari as Director of Solar Applications.

 markets, today announced the appointment of Frank Bottari, Ph.D., as director of solar applications.

Dr. Bottari comes to BTU with an extensive background in process development for thin films coatings, nanomaterials for display and solar applications, and silicon photovoltaics at companies including Mobil Solar and 3M. He holds over 40 patents and published applications, many of them in solar technology. Dr. Bottari holds a doctorate from Brown University and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at Troy, N.Y.; coeducational; founded and opened 1824 as Rensselaer School; chartered 1826. It was called Rensselaer Institute from 1837 to 1861. .
