BTG Wins TVA Open Systems Contract.VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 1997--BTG, Inc. (Nasdaq: BTGI) announced that it has been awarded a $10 million, one-year contract by the Tennessee Valley Authority Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), independent U.S. government corporate agency, created in 1933 by act of Congress; it is responsible for the integrated development of the Tennessee River basin. BTG Senior Program Manager Sue Miller said the new award is the third major information systems contract awarded to the company by TVA since September. The previous awards are to supply the TVA with information technology services (BTG-96-31, Oct. 29, 1996) and with microcomputers (BTG-96-25, Oct. 4, 1996).
