In August 2005, BTG dismissed similar claims against co-defendant, Netflix, Inc., who also took a license to the patents. BTG's suit continues to be pursued against two remaining defendants - Amazon.com and Overstock.com. Louise Makin, Chief Executive Officer of BTG, commented: "We are very happy to have reached an agreement with Barnes & Noble and we are pleased with the ongoing success of our licensing efforts for these patents."
