BTEA to honor industry luminaries.


The Building Trades Employers' Association (BTEA BTEA Back to Education Allowance (Ireland)

), New York's largest and most diverse construction contractor association, will honor three industry luminaries at its 2007 Annual Leadership Dinner on Thursday, April 19 at Cipriani 42 Street.

The Leadership Awards are presented to accomplished individuals that have proven themselves as exemplary leaders and mentors that embody the vision, dedication and fortitude to continuously shape the city's skyline.

The 2007 honorees include Arnold Fisher, Senior Partner at Fisher Brothers. Mr. Fisher will be the recipient of the BTEA's Charles Eidlitz Award for Leadership for his untiring work in support of the Center for the Intrepid The Center for the Intrepid is a rehabilitation facility to treat amputees and burn victims. It is located next to the Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. .

Tommy Craig, senior vice president at Hines, will be the recipient of the John A. Cavanagh Outstanding Service Award for his contributions to the economic vitality of New York City New York City: see New York, city.

The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY REBNY Real Estate Board of New York ), one of the city's oldest and most prestigious real estate trade organizations, will be honored with the BTEA's Alfred Gerosa Lifetime Achievement Award.

REBNY has been designated to receive this award because of its longstanding support of the BTEA's family of union construction contractors in development projects throughout New York City. Steven Spinola, REBNY president, will accept the award on behalf of the organization.
