 VILLAGE, Colo. -- BTE Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of software, equipment, and services to healthcare providers and the Workers' Compensation industry, announced today the appointment of Mark J. Noonan to its Board of Directors effective October 20, 2009. Noonan occupies a newly created seat on the BTE Technologies Board, and will serve as an independent director.

A recognized expert in the field of Workers' Compensation and the law, Noonan is managing Principal for the Casualty Practice at Integro Insurance Brokers. Prior to joining Integro in 2009, Noonan was Managing Director of the Workers' Compensation Practice at Marsh for the past six years, where he twice received the notable recognition of Risk & Insurance's Power Broker of the Year for 2008 and 2009. Other professional history for Noonan includes a role as Workers' Compensation Manager for Raytheon Inc., and Assistant General Counsel to the Mass Bay Transportation Authority.

Commenting on the appointment of Noonan to the Board of Directors, Thomas P.
