BTE Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of software, equipment and services to healthcare providers and the workers compensation industry, announced today the appointment of Kathleen J. Affeldt to its board of directors, effective May 10, 2004.

Affeldt occupies a newly created seat on the BTE Technologies Board, and will serve as an independent director.
