BTCPOWER'S BTC1036 RPM PROVIDES HIGHEST POWER DENSITY DPA.

Broadband TelCom Power (BTCPower), Santa Ana, Calif., a manufacturer of high current power supplies, has introduced their new Model BTC1036 Rectifier Power Module (RPM), an 800 Watt front end AC/DC power supply for Distributed Power Architecture (DPA), Telecom and Internet applications. The BTC1036, which measures 5.5" x 11.521" x 1.63", is designed to fit within an industry standard 1U high (1.75") rack, making it the lowest profile, with highest power and current density power supply for that form factor in the industry. It accepts an input voltage of 85-264 VAC at 47-63 Hz, is power factor corrected, and delivers upward of 48 VDC at 16.6 Amps.

While competitors can only offer 400-600 Watt rectifier power modules in the same, or larger, form factor, the BTC1036 provides 800 Watts - translating into 50-100% more power per module. BTCPower also offers a 1U high x 12" deep Rectifier Power Shelf (RPS) that incorporates three BTC1036 units to produce a combined 2400 Watts of power and a 2U high RPS that can handle six units for double the power at 4800 Watts. Both of these Rectifier Power Shelves set new standards for power and current density output for that form factor.

Furthermore, each BTC1036 power module within the rectifier shelf has precise active current sharing and is hot swappable to provide N +1 redundancy. The RPS comes with adjustable mounting ears that allow for front and center mounting in standard 19" deep racks.

Each module is EMI rated to CISPR22/EN55022-A. The product has self-contained cooling and can operate in a temperature range between B0C to +50 B0C.
