MIAMI -- New World Network, Ltd., a leading provider of advanced, high-speed clear channel and IP services and the principal owner of the Americas Region Caribbean Optical-ring System (ARCOS), has signed a capacity agreement with the Bahamas Telecommunications Company, Ltd. (BTC), the primary operator in the Bahamas, to expand its international facilities.

Through this agreement, BTC will provide enhanced facilities between New Providence Island, Cat Island and Crooked Island that will serve as backbone and hubs to interconnect other islands of the Bahamas. This agreement will also provide BTC with expanded access to the US and international networks.
