BT to call back India-based staff to Britain


Telecoms operator BT is to recall to the country at least 2,000 call-centre jobs based in India India, officially Republic of India, republic (2005 est pop. 1,080,264,000), 1,261,810 sq mi (3,268,090 sq km), S Asia. In recent years, big companies have outsourced thousands of call-centre jobs to India to cut costs but have faced criticism from Britain-based customers unhappy at the level of service received.

BT's move to repatriate repatriate
