According to the company, the One Source solution combines Polycom's RealPresence Experience (RPX) and Polycom Telepresence Experience (TPX) immersive tele-presence solutions, as well as BT Conferencing's management services to provide customers with an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for immersive tele-presence. BT's One Source services provide users with a single partner for their Polycom tele-presence and video conferencing needs. Customers can tailor their solution with a combination of solutions and services to meet specific business requirements. Together with coverage provided by BT's global IP network across 170 countries and 24/7 help-desk support, it ensures quality of conferencing services for customers worldwide, the company said. BT One Source for Polycom Immersive Solutions will be available in the US and Europe from 1 April, 2009. No financial or pricing details were disclosed.
