What: The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) will bestow
its first annual GLOBALCOMM(TM) Icon Award on BT Wholesale CEO
Paul Reynolds on Tuesday, June 6. Reynolds will also deliver
GLOBALCOMM(TM) and International Engineering Consortium (IEC)
addresses on June 6-7.
The GLOBALCOMM(TM) Icon Award was created to annually honor an
executive whose vision and leadership has made a significant
and lasting contribution to the global communications
industry.
Reynolds serves on the BT Group PLC Board as CEO of BT
Wholesale and Board sponsor for its 21st Century Network
(21CN) programme. BT Wholesale provides network services and
solutions within the UK to more than 600 communications
providers, mobile operators and internet service providers.
Under Reynolds' guidance BT Wholesale has grown into one of
Europe's leading wholesale network providers. His leadership
