BT will evaluate Cramer's capabilities for overall management of the provisioning of voice and DSL DSL in full Digital Subscriber Line Broadband digital communications connection that operates over standard copper telephone wires. It requires a DSL modem, which splits transmissions into two frequency bands: the lower frequencies for voice (ordinary services across BT's entire national copper access network -- a massive provisioning operation that could exceed 7 million transactions per month, and the management of over 2.5 terabytes of data. The evaluation project award follows an extensive assessment of inventory management and provisioning solution providers worldwide.
