The course provides developers and system integrators with the solid foundation they need to develop high-quality embedded solutions using Windows XP Embedded.

Using curriculum created by Microsoft, the three-day interactive course is taught by leading industry experts at BSQUARE headquarters in Bellevue, WA, and at other customer sites. The courseware uses lectures and hands-on labs to teach students about the basic Windows XP Embedded building blocks, as well as how to design, configure, and modify the Windows XP Embedded operating system.

Titled Developing Embedded Systems for Windows XP Embedded (MSDN 2545), the new course, teaches developers and systems integrators how to rapidly develop embedded solutions using the Windows XP Embedded operating system and tools. Using a lecture and lab format, the course introduces the Windows XP Embedded architecture and provides instruction on building devices using Microsoft's Target Designer, a comprehensive toolset for developing Windows XP Embedded-based devices.
