Software Enables Users to Instantly "Beam" Contacts, Tasks

and Appointments Between Windows CE-Based Pocket

PCs and Palm OS Devices It may never be fully completed or, depending on its its nature, it may be that it can never be completed. However, new and revised entries in the list are always welcome.

EZBeam Makes the Rounds at the Symbol Developers Conference

Attendees of the recent Symbol Developers Conference in Palm Springs, California Palm Springs is a famed Riverside County, California desert resort city, approximately 110 miles (177 km) east of Los Angeles and 140 miles (225 km) northeast of San Diego. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 42,807.  got a chance to preview EZBeam, using it to transfer contacts between Symbol devices using the Palm operating system operating system (OS)

Transmissions are sent wirelessly using the infrared port A transmitter/receiver for infrared signals. To send a contact, appointment, task or text file, BSQUARE EZBeam users simply taps on it and selects Send. Receiving data is just as easy.

BSQUARE's EZBeam will be available from BSQUARE and authorized distributors in July. Pricing for a single user license is $19.95 and the software will be offered for purchase from BSQUARE's website at http://www.bsquare.com.
