BSI2000 Files Additional Patent Application; New Patent to Aid Clinical Diagnoses Employing Optical Cards.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 2002

BSI BSI - British Standards Institute 2000 Inc. today announced it has filed a patent application with the U.S. Patent Office in Washington.

The new patent application covers an extension of the base optical card technology already developed by BSI2000 that includes a novel method of recording medical diagnostic information with automatic analysis of statistical trends of the data by using special card-based heuristic A method of problem solving using exploration and trial and error methods. Heuristic program design provides a framework for solving the problem in contrast with a fixed set of rules (algorithmic) that cannot vary.
