Community Bank Services officials, BSG Financial was selected due to its proven success in developing effective profit-enhancing services for financial institutions. The association also was impressed by Re$ubmitIt's ability to generate income for member banks as they simultaneously forge strong customer relationships. With Re$ubmitIt these banks help their commercial accountholders collect more funds from NSF checks, while alleviating the burden of the collection process.

"We were very impressed with BSG Financial's reputation in the industry," said Rann Paynter, executive vice president and chief administrative officer A chief administrative officer (CAO) is responsible for administrative management of private, public or governmental corporations. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive  of Community Bank Services. "References from bank customers and other state organizations were stellar, and we felt Re$ubmitIt would be a good fit with our organization. Providing excellent quality service -- while maintaining the highest level of efficiency -- is paramount to our organization's membership. Re$ubmitIt gives our member banks the opportunity to do both."

NCBA member banks will profit from Re$ubmitIt through a revenue share of the service fee collected from the check writer. The automated process recovers 100 percent of the face value of the items collected. Because of strategic timing of the electronic submissions and multiple attempts to collect, Re$ubmitIt increases the likelihood of recovering the funds from the returned items. The program also offers free secondary collections for items that cannot be collected electronically further enhancing the value of the service for merchant accountholders.

Re$ubmitIt processes paper NSF checks, as well as electronic ACH originations and check conversions, including: back office conversions (BOC (Bell Operating Company) One of 22 companies that was formerly part of AT&T and later organized into seven regional companies. See RBOC. ), accounts receivable accounts receivable n. the amounts of money due or owed to a business or professional by customers or clients. Generally, accounts receivable refers to the total amount due and is considered in calculating the value of a business or the business' problems in paying  conversions (ARC) and Web-authorized payments (WEB). As such, revenue garnered from check processing represents only a portion of the potential program earnings.

"We take a great deal of pride in serving the banking community and working closely with organizations like Community Bank Services," said Barrett Nichols, founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
