BS 7882:2008--torque measuring devices.
The first standard of this type to be published, BS 7882 evolved from the need for calibration laboratories to determine the results of torque measurements in a uniform manner. This standard provides a practical solution for the calibration of torque measuring devices without making the calibration too time-consuming to perform and consequently commercially unviable.
* BS 7882 specifies requirements for the calibration and classification of torque measuring devices, including those used for the calibration of hand torque tools to BS EN ISO 6789.
* BS 7882 describes the method of calibration, calculation of calibration results and the classification of the torque measuring device in a static mode. The information to be given on the certificate of calibration is also listed. Price 142 [pounds sterling] * Member Price 51 [pounds sterling] ISBN 978 0 580 55351 6
