BRUINS SIGN TWO JUNIOR COLLEGE DEFENSIVE STARS.

In a move to re-enforce the defensive front seven, UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

 has signed a pair of junior college players to letters of intent: defensive lineman Ryan Boschetti Ryan Boschetti (born October 7, 1981 in Belmont, California) is an American football player who currently plays defensive tackle for the Washington Redskins. High School Career  and linebacker Patrick Pierre-Louis.

UCLA, which has accepted only one junior college player since 1998, will have both players in school in time for spring practice, joining receiver Junior Taylor, a freshman from Arizona who obtained a qualifying test score earlier this fall. Boschetti will enroll for the winter quarter next week, and Pierre-Louis will arrive for the spring quarter in April.

Boschetti, a first-team JC Grid-Wire All-American at San Mateo San Mateo (săn mətā`ō), city (1990 pop. 85,486), San Mateo co., W Calif., on San Francisco Bay; inc. 1894. It is a commercial and retail center with some high-technology manufacturing. San Mateo, Spanish for St.  College, had 21 sacks the past two seasons. He likely will compete for the starting job left open by the graduation of All-Pacific-10 Conference defensive end Kenyon Coleman Kenyon Octavia Coleman (born April 10, 1979 in Fontana, California) is an American football defensive end for the New York Jets of the NFL. He was selected with the 12th pick of the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft out of the University of California, Los Angeles by the Oakland . Juniors Rusty Williams and Mat Ball also will compete for the job.

Pierre-Louis, who is 6-foot-1, 225 pounds, played at Glendale College and Citrus College According to the Public Policy Institute of California, Citrus College had 632 students who transferred to universities during the 2005-2006 academic year, ranking seventh in the area.

Citrus College students are represented by ASCC the Associated Students of Citrus College.
 the past two seasons. The three incoming players don't count against the 25 scholarships the Bruins will be awarding for next year. UCLA presently has 17 commitments, the latest being running back Glenn Ohaeri from Aquinas High in San Bernardino.
