BRS Announces Save 214!


SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Ballistic Recovery Systems Ballistic Recovery Systems (commonly BRS) is a company that was formed in 1980 by Boris Popov after he survived a 400 foot fall in a partly collapsed hang glider in 1975. , Inc. (Pink Sheets: BRSI), a manufacturer of whole-aircraft emergency parachute systems, announced today that it was notified of an aircraft accident in Germany on Monday, August 25th, 2008 where its parachute recovery system saved the life of its pilot. The pilot of an FK14 Polaris light aircraft, losing aerodynamic control of his aircraft upon encountering severe weather near the city of Cologne, Germany and, realizing he was in a deteriorating situation, elected to deploy his installed BRS BRS - Big Red Switch. This abbreviation is fairly common on-line.  emergency parachute system. The pilot subsequently landed in a grove "In a Grove" (藪の中)  of trees and walked away with only a sight scratch to his face.
