) market.BRP makes a dramatic shift in focus to ATV enthusiasts and will continue to build Bombardier(i) ATVs with innovative capability and features, but also offer a higher level of handling, power and performance than competitors.

The 2006 model that best represents this change is the new Outlander(TM) 800 H.O. EFI See UEFI.

"We've developed our niche in this highly competitive market with ATVs that are more than mere machines - they're vehicles for having fun, whether during work or play," said Pierre Arsenault Pierre Arsenault (b. October 12, 1963 in Roberval, Quebec) is a Major League Baseball bullpen coordinator for the Florida Marlins. , BRP Vice President and General Manager Snowmobiles, Watercraft, ATV and Sport Boats. "BRP's Ski-Doo(R) snowmobiles, Sea-Doo(R) watercraft, Evinrude(R) outboard engines, Rotax(R) engines and karts all rest on a single foundation:sporty performance for people who love their activities. This enthusiast focus is where we have a real advantage over the competition because of our heritage and expertise."

The 2006 Bombardier(i) ATV line-up includes: two Outlander models (800 H.O. EFI and 400 H.O.), two Outlander MAX two-rider models (800 H.O. EFI and 400 H.O.), DS650(R) X, Rally(TM) 200 and three youth ATVs (DS90(TM), DS90 four-stroke and DS50(TM)).

BRP will no longer offer the Traxter(R) utility-oriented models. However, BRP and Deere and Company have agreed to maintain, through model year 2006, their agreement for the supply by BRP of the Buck(#) and Trail Buck(#) ATVs, which are based on the Traxter(R) platform.

"With the new Bombardier(i) ATV, we want to be the 'ATVer's ATV,'" said Arsenault."By focusing our efforts on just rec-ute, sport and youth vehicles, we can use the performance heritage of our other enthusiast products and sporty character of our current Outlander, DS and Youth models to push innovation even farther.Who knows what's around the bend?"

Outlander 800 H.O. EFI

The new Outlander 800 H.O. EFI is a high-tech tour-de-force - each and every feature is considered best-in-class.Its compact Rotax 80 degrees V-twin delivers more power and torque than any other ATV for outstanding top-end speed, acceleration and pulling power Pulling Power is a regional motoring programme shown only in the Central Television region on ITV1 since 1996. However it has been shown on the ITV1 network on a series trial basis and also as a filler programme at times. . Electronic fuel injection ensures spot-on performance and instant throttle response Throttle response is the responsiveness of the vehicle to throttle modulation. When throttle is increased suddenly, how fast power output of engine increases implies the throttle response of that vehicle.  in nearly all conditions and through the entire RPM range.Its continuously variable transmission The continuously variable transmission (CVT) is a transmission in which the ratio of the rotational speeds of two shafts, as the input shaft and output shaft of a vehicle or other machine, can be varied continuously within a given range, providing an infinite number of  means get-on-and-go simplicity.

To accommodate the V-twin, BRP engineers stretched the acclaimed Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) frame and added a new double A-arm front suspension for precise cornering. Like all other Outlander models, the rear uses the BRP -exclusive Torsional tor·sion

Another BRP-exclusive, the Visco-Lok(+) front differential automatically and progressively transfers power from a slipping wheel to one that has more traction.

In terms of luxury and refinement, the Outlander 800 H.O. "The Outlander 800 H.O. EFI is the best engine in the best chassis with the best front and rear suspensions and best features," said Arsenault."Our goal with this vehicle was to set the bar extremely high for the rest of the industry.And it is a blast to drive."
There are four new 800 H.O. EFI models for 2006:

- Outlander 800 H.O. EFI;

- Outlander MAX 800 H.O. EFI;
- Outlander MAX 800 H.O. EFI with XT added-value package;

Outlander, Outlander MAX Models Refined

EFI big brother.The most powerful-in-class Outlander 400 H.O. also gets a sleek new multi-function digital gauge, steel racks and 35% brighter clear lens headlights.

Attention was also paid to refining the Outlander(TM) MAX two-rider models, the world's first ATVs designed specifically for two riders.The seat for both driver and passenger are more comfortable, with a more supportive active backrest for the passenger and an improved lumbar support for the driver.Passenger handholds are more ergonomic and allow several positions.

), with a new two-latch seat attachment.CRS easily converts MAX models from two-rider vehicles to single-rider vehicles with expanded cargo capacity.The new standard rack now doubles as a totable storage box.An owner can add further utility with an optional rear cargo box or trunk box.All these options attach in just seconds without tools.

All Outlander models are equipped with the BRP-exclusive Visco-Lok(+) front differential that automatically and progressively transfers power from a slipping front wheel to the one with more traction.

Checkered Flags Standard with DS650 X Sport Model

99.9% of pure sport riders will never ride their ATV all-out for 1,000 straight miles (1,600 km) in the toughest terrain on earth. But if they ride a Bombardier(i) ATV DS650(R) X, they ride with the knowledge that their ATV can not only survive such a grueling test, but thrive in it.After all, the 650cc DS has won the Paris-Dakar rally and Tecate Score Baja 1000, San Felipe 250 and Baja 500 in the same year.

Race-proven components are standard on the DS...plus it's only available as an X-package model for 2006 with more in race-bred features - like aluminum rims with reinforcement rings, aluminum muffler muffler, in automobiles, device designed to reduce the noise from the exhaust of an internal-combustion engine. When the exhaust gases from an internal-combustion engine are released directly into the atmosphere, they create a loud noise, caused by the passage of the  shield, factory-fit skid plates for the A-arms and engine, steel-braided brake lines and more.

Like all the other full-size 2006 Bombardier(i) ATV models, the DS650 X is the fastest ATV in its class.
