BROUGHT TOJUSTICE; THE following cases were heard at Cardiff Magistrates' Court:.

Phil Lee Winters, 29, of Speedwell Close, Pontprennau, Cardiff, was found guilty of speeding and was fined pounds 60 with a pounds 15 victim surcharge.

Jason Justin Spriggs, 38, of Caerwent Road, Ely, Cardiff, pleaded guilty to theft from a vehicle and was fined pounds 65 with costs of pounds 60 and a pounds 15 victim surcharge. Natalie Osborne, 33, of Mercia Road, Splott, Cardiff, was found guilty of driving without insurance and was given a conditional discharge for six months, disqualified from driving for six months, and ordered to pay costs of pounds 55.

Ali Isaa Elayah, 38, of Loudoun House, Loudoun Square, Butetown, Cardiff, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving and was fined pounds 260 with costs of pounds 50 and a pounds 15 victim surcharge. Evelyn Wright, 45, of The Avenue, Pontygwaith, Pontypridd, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and was fined pounds 150 with costs of pounds 50 and a pounds 15 victim surcharge. Johnathan David Evans, 24, of Edinburgh Court, Wyndham Place, Canton, Cardiff, pleaded guilty to assault, harassment, and driving while banned and was sent to prison for 12 weeks. Rachel Mary Hartery, 40, of Meggitt Road, Barry, was fined pounds 45 and given three penalty points after being found guilty of speeding on Cowbridge Road West, Cardiff.

Krzysztof Orzechowski, 23, of Monthermer Road, Cathays, Cardiff, was fined pounds 100 and given six penalty points after being found guilty of driving without insurance. David Daniel Owston, 31, of Llansannor Drive, Butetown, Cardiff, was fined pounds 175 with pounds 45 costs and given three penalty points, after being convicted - in his absence - of using a mobile phone while driving.
