BROUGHT TO JUSTICE; Who's been in court?


THE following cases were heard at Cardiff Magistrates' Court:

- Wesley Atkins, 18, of Cambridge Street, Grangetown, Cardiff For other places with the same name, see Grangetown.
Grangetown is an area in Cardiff, Wales. It is one of the largest districts in the south of the city and is bordered by Riverside, Canton and Butetown. The River Taff winds its way through the area.
, was fined pounds 50 with a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting jumping a red light. Three points were put on his licence.

- Karol Jan Ciurah, 22, of Clos Tyniad Glo, Barry, was fined pounds 475 with pounds 40 costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding. Six points were put on her licence.

- Benjamin Thomas Benjamin Thomas may refer to:

 Dummer, 27, of Ffordd Brynhyfryd, Old St Mellons, Cardiff, was fined pounds 200 with pounds 60 costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting failing to stop and provide details after an accident. Six points were put on his licence.

- Gareth Lloyd George, 29, of Bwlch Road, Fairwater, Cardiff, was fined pounds 235 with pounds 60 costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting possessing cannabis.

- Craig Alun Haskings, 25, of Wellfield Place, Roath, Cardiff, was fined pounds 230 with pounds 60 costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting using threatening words or behaviour.

- Tanya Michelle Sweetman, 21, of Carlisle Street, Splott, Cardiff, was conditionally discharged for 18 months and must pay pounds 60 costs after admitting stealing shoes and perfume.

- Jason Micallef, 28, of Eleanor Place, Butetown, Cardiff, was given a 10-week jail term, suspended for a year, after admitting breaching a community order, shoplifting Ask a Lawyer

- Craig Burgess, 31, of Meadowlark meadowlark, common North American meadow bird of the family Icteridae, also called meadow starling. Unlike other members of the family, which comprises blackbirds, grackles, orioles, and others, the meadowlark does not travel in large flocks, and it eats harmful  Close, St Mellons, Cardiff, was fined pounds 85 with a pounds 15 victim surcharge after admitting failing to surrender to custody and using threatening words or behaviour.

- GrahamClive David, 49, of Wilson Road, Ely, Cardiff, was given a four-month jail term, suspended for a year, after admitting driving while disqualified dis·qual·i·fy
