BROUGHT TO JUSTICE; Who's been in court?

THE following cases were dealt with at Cardiff Magistrates' Court:

Thomas Rhys Watson, 26, of Heol Coed Cae, Llandaff North, Cardiff, was jailed for 148 days after he pleaded guilty to stealing PDSA and Barnardo's charity boxes and failed to surrender to bail.

Clinton O'Nell Findlay, 23, of Llanmorlais Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff, was fined pounds 150, with pounds 30 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge, and banned from driving for two months after he was convicted in absence of driving without the correct licence, insurance or an MoT.

Kain James Jason, 24, of Colefield Drive, St Mellons, Cardiff, was jailed for four months after he pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of vodka and a handbag, in violation of a community order.

Sean Robert Lyons, 24, of Honiton Road, Llanrumney, Cardiff, was fined pounds 75 with pounds 60 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge, after he pleaded guilty to criminal damage and failing to surrender to bail.

Mary Bridget O'Driscoll, 44, of Riverside Terrace, Riverside, Cardiff, was fined pounds 150 with pounds 30 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for two months after she was convicted in absence of driving a car without the correct licence or insurance, obstructing a police officer and failing to ensure a child passenger in her car had its seatbelt on.

Justin Roger Pound, 36, of Oakfield Street, Roath, Cardiff, was jailed for four months after he pleaded guilty to stealing meat from Tesco, in violation of a community order given for previous theft offences.

James Armstrong, 28, of St Brigid Road, Heath, Cardiff, was fined pounds 225 with pounds 40 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for six months after he pleaded guilty to using a car without insurance and MoT and failing to produce his documents for examination.

Nathan James Hazel, 27, of Romilly Road West, Canton, Cardiff, was fined pounds 300 with pounds 40 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge after he pleaded guilty to speeding.

Hamid Kiadarendsary, 27, of Mynachdy Road, Gabalfa, Cardiff, was fined pounds 100 with pounds 40 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for six months after he pleaded guilty to driving without a licence or insurance.

Thomas Kinch, 22, of Worcester Street, Brynmawr, Ebbw Vale, was fined pounds 100 with pounds 40 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and had four penalty points added to his licence after he pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention.

Msabane Malambo, 30, of Chapelwood, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, was fined pounds 150 with pounds 40 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for six months after he was convicted in absence of driving without a licence, insurance or MoT and failing to stop at a red light.

Gavin Sainty, 18, of North Luton Place, Adamsdown, Cardiff, was given a 12-month conditional discharge, fined pounds 150, with pounds 30 court costs and a pounds 15 victim surcharge and banned from driving for two months after he pleaded guilty to criminal damage to a Dragon Rescue recovery vehicle, driving without a licence, insurance or an MoT.

Kathleen Cash, 22, of Landway Road, Fairwater, Cardiff, was given a 12-month conditional discharge with pounds 75 court costs after she was convicted of stealing a car battery
