Markowitz was being sought by authorities for a first-degree residential robbery charge filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office this month.

A victim told police that Markowitz had entered a Woodland Hills home Dec. 23 and demanded money from him at gunpoint. The victim told investigators that Markowitz took about $200.

Markowitz, who was being held on the felony robbery warrant at the Van Nuys jail, is the halrother of 15-year-old Nicholas Markowitz.
