Four men were held this week. A fifth, Juan Carlos Avalos, 30 - boyfriend of Carlos and Juan's sister Patricia - was seized earlier.

In October 2006 another of the 24-year-old Argie striker's brothers, Diego, was arrested in capital Buenos Aires with a loaded gun and ammunition.

In 2005 Diego was accused of trying to rob a shoe shop. Last night Man United would only say: "We know nothing about this and we would not make a comment anyway."
