Brooks Fiber Properties, Inc. announced today that Brooks Fiber Communications of Arkansas, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

A subsidiary whose parent company owns 100% of its common stock.

This authority allows Brooks Fiber to expand its local offerings to include the full range of telecommunication services. The Company will utilize a Lucent Technologies 5ESS (1) (Electronic Switching System) A large-scale computer from Lucent used to route telephone calls in a telephone company office.
