CANYON COUNTRY - Three men were arrested early Wednesday after a traffic stop led to the discovery of $90,000 in computer chips believed stolen in Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The valley was part of the 48,612-acre (19,672.  sheriff's station jail in lieu of $90,000 bail each, Moore said. The SUV was rented in Los Angeles, Moore added.

According to information provided to the CHP by South San Francisco police, three boxes containing 900 Samsung computer chips - each chip valued at $100 - were stolen Tuesday afternoon from the back of a Federal Express truck that was stopped at a red light.

The thieves put the boxes in a cargo van and sped away, causing a minor traffic crash moments later. The van got away, but authorities found a duct tape-covered license plate at the scene and traced the van to a rental agency in Los Angeles. The Cargo Theft Interdiction INTERDICTION, civil law.
